Kraft paper is used as the raw material in the production process.
The size and quality of the paper supplied on reels, depends
on the needs of the customer and may take into account such
factors as porosity, strength and elasticity.
The first stage is to print the paper in a number of colours.
The paper is then folded and glued to produce a tube made up
of one or more layers superimposed on one another and glued
lengthways and breadthways. The composition of the sack may
be modified (if the contents require it) by inserting polythene
(silicon or plastic coated paper) in between the layers of paper
in order to provide a barrier against damp or grease etc.
